Changing rooms

Moving from one room to another can be a very important transition for a child. With Storypark, the aim is to make that transition as simple as possible.

Rooms in Storypark are just a way of sorting through the full list of children you have at your centre. That makes it simpler for when teachers are creating stories and selecting children for them. It also makes it simpler to view stories for just their children by going to the Stories page for their room. You also have the option of using a Community Space just for that room, so that Posts and Announcements only go out to those parents.

You can change a room for any child by going into the profile for that room. Under Menu, click on the name of the room. Then click on Edit to open up the room. Under children, there will be a list of all the children at your service. Only those that are ticked would be included in that room. So to add a child to that room, just select that child from the list. You can then go back to the old room and remove them from that list.
