Before Daisies Early Education and Care Centre used Storypark’s planning tools, their planning mostly took place on many notebooks and pieces of paper, which made keeping track of what different age groups had been exploring and investigating difficult.

Since implementing the planning tool at their centre, Daisies have mostly been using it for their investigation work with children – for planning experiences that will extend and provoke children’s thinking.

The educators at Daisies have created their own planning templates which they use every week. The template has been designed to ensure that teachers will think of every aspect that is involved in the planning process.

Daisies’ headteacher Brigitte says that coherency and consistency in their investigations and work with children is what they strive for in their planning efforts, and Storypark’s planning tools have helped them to achieve this.
