One of our top priorities at Storypark is to ensure that both families and educators get the most out of our Storypark for Educators and Storypark For Families apps. We do this by regularly working on updating and improving our apps. We also create new features that help you to get the most out of Storypark and Storypark For Families. Here’s a rundown on our latest updates on the Families App.

Activity Stream

Kicking off, we have added an activity stream. You will now find it easier than ever to catch up on the latest news and updates. Along with some performance improvements, you will also notice that the ‘Activity Videos’ section has been renamed under the ‘Ideas’ tab. For iOS users, you will notice that your profile and account access has moved to the top left corner.

Viewing Plans in Apps

Something that we know both educators AND parents will be happy to hear, is that parents are now able to view plans in the Families App. This is only accessible to the admin/s on a child’s account and only applies to plans that have been shared with family, by educators. Please note, in order to leave comments, people will need to use the website. For more information on this, see our help centre.

Notification Settings and Push Notifications

Families can now control all of their notifications directly through the app, including which notifications they receive, and how they receive them.

Multi-Photo Moments

Families can now add multiple images to a moment. This helps to tell a story as they can capture a sequence of events, or share related photos. A great way for families to share special moments with educators and other family members.

Download Videos

The ability to download and save videos is now available in the Families App. If you’re an Admin, simply open the video, tap on the sharing options and the video can then be downloaded to a device.

Improved Display of Stories

Stories have had a makeover and are now displaying with a new modernised look.

Storypark and Storypark for Families would not be what it is today without your feedback, so don’t hesitate to get in touch with us with suggestions, ideas, or just to share the love!

We do enjoy seeing the experiences for Anna while she is in care with you. She loves the environment and the learning.

It’s just a delight to see my grandson Theo enjoying and learnings so much. So many moments I would otherwise miss out on without Storypark.

Living in Australia, I can’t wait to see what Akash is up at Elm Row. I can’t thank you enough for posting his and the other children’s stories and how they play together.
