Storypark’s purpose is to help every child fulfil their unique potential by connecting and empowering the community around them. We do this in a number of ways, one of which is to help attract and sustain relationships with parents (empowering centres to build profitability and therefore the able to make a long term impact for children).

This is the second of my two part blog post to share all the ways that Storypark is saving costs and increasing your sustainability (please read any of our numerous other blog post around the impact we create for children if you’re more interested in this).

  • Strengthen relationships (retain parents)
Make sure the relationships you have with parents remain strong, with regular communication and a way that every parent can feel comfortable sharing any points of concern are important aspects of keeping the families at your centre happy (and staying at your centre). Storypark is an excellent solution.
  • Enhance professional development opportunities and attract the best talent
Creating great outcomes for children is more easily done when you have a coherent, professional team. Attracting staff is easier when they know they will be professionally well supported and that their skills will be actively developed by your organization. Storypark can help you build a reputation for quality practice and professional development, This can happen through the mentoring, peer support and insights that our Teacher portfolios offer for each teacher, reporting tools, story-approval process and management tools.
  • Improve productivity
Do more in the same amount of time. Spend time on thoughtful, reflective practice and streamline reporting and assessment processes. Storypark’s intuitive story editor means teachers have enough tools to be creative, but each observation takes significantly less time to produce, link to curriculum, share with families and communicate with them about their child’s learning. BestStart Educare surveyed their Centre Directors after 12 months of using Storypark. 72% of Centre Managers felt that their team are creating more stories, moments and documentation (in the same amount of time)
  • Improve operations and management
Storypark’s reports enable Centre owners and/or Directors to have a real-time dashboard of the operation of their service. If you’re responsible for multiple sites, we have a special network dashboard which can show you all of your sites at once. This can help you choose where to spend important professional development resources, save time on reporting, improve transparency and accountability across your service(s)
  • Get more out of training
Every year you invest a lot in training for your staff. How do you ensure the learning doesn’t finish at the end of the two day conference or webinar? Encourage on-going professional discussions in teacher-only discussion rooms or team conversations using the conversations tool.
